Gorilla Trekking & Nile Rafting Adventure Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Entebbe
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda and after finalizing the formalities, you shall be welcomed by your guide, who will then drive you to your hotel and overnight there.
Day 2: Fly to Bwindi National Park
Today you will fly from Entebbe to Kihihi Airstrip and then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park is home to the endangered mountain gorillas. This fascinating mountain forest hosts chimpanzees and spectacular birds. There are 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species including Blue-throated Broadbill, bar-tailed Trogon and other beautiful forest species. You shall go to bed earlier this evening, since you should be fit for gorilla trekking the next day.

Transit Flight Time: Approximately 1 hour 30 mins
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking
This morning you will get up very early and for gorilla trekking. Trekking the Mountain Gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 6 hours, but is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas. Accommodation: Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp Meal: B,L,D
Day 4: Fly back to Entebbe
After breakfast, you will drive to Kihihi Airstrip and fly back to Entebbe enjoying the beautiful aerial view of south western Uganda, the hills and thick vegetation as well as the farming practiced by the locals. Afterwards you will arrive at the Airport and then a transfer will take you to your next destination!

Afternoon of Day 4: Drive to Jinja and enjoy a boat ride on source of the Nile
Connect from your main program with an extension to Jinja. Drive to Jinja, you will visit the source of the Nile. The Nile is a major north-flowing river in north eastern Africa, regarded as the longest river in the world (6,853 km long). Alternatively, you can drive straight to your accommodation.

Day 2: Optional Activities on the Nile
Spend the day relaxing at the lodge or choose from the optional activities available. These include half / full day white water rafting on the Nile, Kayaking, Horse riding where you enjoy leisurely rides through the villages and farm lands along the Nile or opt for a bike ride.

Day 3: Day at leisure or enjoy the optional activities
Spend the day relaxing at the lodge or choose from the optional activities available at the lodge.

Day 4: Drive to Kampala
After breakfast, you will start your journey back to Kampala at your own leisure; have time to take photos on your way. Buy a few souvenirs and have a quick picnic lunch. Later you be dropped at the airport.
