Get to know us…

With a background in hospitality, I’ve gained valuable experience in five-star hotels, high-end catering, and wine-tasting rooms in Santa Barbara, Califonia. However, the most influential experiences came from my five enriching years living in Italy! I first fell in love with the country, and then, quite unexpectedly, I fell for my “souvenir”— my husband Stefano, who I met while living there.

My career has consistently focused on connecting with people, and now I get to connect people with places. I find joy in what I do, sending travelers to unique destinations and experiences that help bring more novelty and joy into their lives — just as I strive to do for my own family: my husband, our little girl Nadia, and myself.

Curious about my interests aside from travel planning? Just grab my phone and take a peek at my “recent searches” and the 38 tabs I have open. You won’t find home goods or clothes; instead, you’ll see boutique hotels, articles about Kyoto’s top restaurants, and Google Maps showing driving distances between places in Scotland. Research is my hobby and I’m the girl that plans her next trip, while on a trip.

Working remotely aligns perfectly for me as I enjoy working from wherever a conference or a research trip may take me. I’m endlessly inspired by seaside towns, artisans of all kinds (even though I’m the least artistic person you’ll ever meet), days by the water, and the simple joy of a cold cocktail in hand.

Some of my favorite places:

  1. South Africa – It has it all! The wildlife, the countryside, beautiful hotels and lodges. The food and wine scene- so impressive!

  2. Thailand – A country I can’t get enough of! I can’t wait to go back.

  3. Colombia – My only visit (so far) to the Amazon blew me away.

  4. Italy…it’ll always have my heart! Feels like my second home.

  5. Japan — an artisan’

Meet Stefano, the organizational powerhouse at Foreign to Domestic. Originally from northern Italy, Stefano's upbringing was filled with the tranquility of Italian lakes and the excitement of outdoor adventures. Fishing and exploration were not just hobbies but integral parts of his life.

After completing his Civil Engineering degree at the University of Brescia, Stefano embarked on numerous adventures across Europe, Mexico, and the United States alongside his wife, Kelsey. His ultimate dream? Exploring the stunning landscapes of Patagonia or New Zealand while indulging in his love for fishing. Although other days he may say visiting the Maldives is his other high priority trip so he can enjoy snorkeling and barefoot luxury resorts.

Professionally, Stefano excels in numbers and detail-oriented tasks, ensuring that Foreign to Domestic operates smoothly behind the scenes. In 2023, he and Kelsey decided to turn their shared vision into a family business, combining Stefano's organizational skills with Kelsey's creativity for success.

Outside of work, Stefano enjoys pickleball, beach time, volleyball and embraces life with a competitive spirit.

Some of Stefano’s favorite places

  1. Mexico – I’ve visited both the West and East Coast and even central Mexico! It’s a country I can return to time and time again.

  2. Greece – I love being in and on the water. I’m also a passionate seafood eater and Greek food always impresses me.

  3. Germany – I enjoy river cruising, visiting the many castles, and learning about the history of this country.

  4. Italy – It’ll always be my homeland. Maybe I’m biased, but it’s one of the most beautiful countries in the world!
