The Fine Details
Your passport details are required to complete your booking. Please ensure the name on your passport matches the name that you put down on the form. We will also need your date of birth to complete the hotel booking. You must be 21 and over to go on this tour.
Please do not purchase your flights without receiving a confirmation email from Kelsey that you have been selected for the tour. You must put down a deposit for the trip first. Then share the flights that you would like to purchase with Kelsey, this way she can give you the green light to move forward. This way we can be sure you are flying in on time for the tour and into the correct and best airports for your trip.
Airports:
The trip starts in Florence, so the closest airport will be the one there- Aeroporto di Firenze-Peretola (FLR). Otherwise you can fly into Rome, Bologna, Venice, Milan and then train to Florence on your own to meet up with the group. Kelsey can also assist you with train tickets and the logistics for this.
Flights and anything not mentioned in the itinerary are to be purchased and taken care of on your own.
Travel insurance is not included in this trip, but highly encouraged for any medical needs while traveling.
Add ons! Kelsey is a travel advisor and for this trip she can potentially assist you with flights, transfers, added nights, tours and other destinations if you are going on a European adventure before or after the tour.
This trip involves walking on uneven ground for multiple hours during walking tours and excursions. Pack comfortable shoes, no heels needed for this adventure.
Please note that you'll need to carry your own luggage and across cobblestone. Pack smart! Kelsey will be providing travelers with a packing list about 30 days before the travel date.
Wifi is available in all locations, but connection may be weak.
While we will try to cater to dietary requirements when possible, please let us know if you have any food allergies that we need to know about in advance. We will do our best to cater to your needs, however certain dishes we may not be able to substitute things, but we will have options for you to choose from.
Spending Money: When it comes to spending money on the trip, every traveller is a little different. You know your spending habits better than we do, so please budget a sensible amount for things like meals not included, drinks, shopping, optional activities and laundry. It's always better to bring a little more than you think you'll need. Also make sure you've read your trip details thoroughly so you know what's included in the trip price and what isn't. This should make budgeting a little easier. Local currency will be the euro! We can stop and use ATM's while in Italy, but it's best to bring a credit card and cash along for your travels.
*Check with your bank in advance concerning the suitability of your account / card overseas and any international fees that will be applied.
Dress Code: In general, there are few dress restrictions in Europe. Note when visiting churches, monasteries or other religious sites modest dress is required - shorts or skimpy tops may not be permitted, for both men and women.
Gratuity: for your tour guides and the driver is not included. We do recommend a nice tip if clients have been happy with the services from drivers and tour guides.
